Five decades on this earth taught me that one has to make an effort to create a truly enjoyable and stylish experience. I treat every street, either in London, Singapore, West Africa, Monte Carlo or Dubai – or wherever I may be – as my personal catwalk, and make time to appreciate art, and interiors. This is a selected snapshot of some exclusive events I take part in, places I visit and lifestyle choices I make.

Style judgement
`Why do many women look so dowdy? There is so much choice in
the shops` - asks my husband when we see a particularly bad case of frumpiness.
He is not the only one who pays attention to what women wear and how we present
ourselves. One of my colleagues` PA told me recently that he was aghast to see
me wearing a set of crystal-decorated eyelashes; the other commented lately on
`that horrid looking TV presenter`; and a stranger complimented me yesterday on
`looking glam` in a Michael Kors silk dress and a tiara. Well, men notice but
don`t always tell us what they think of our style choices. And if they did,
would we want to make more effort?
